The Warsaw Uprising Run

Last weekend, Electra M&E Poland employees participated in the 33rd edition of the Warsaw Uprising Run. This is a unique event, during which thousands of runners pay tribute to the heroes of the 1944 uprising.

This year our Company was represented by six runners who took part in the 5 km and 10 km runs: Magdalena Basinska, Ewelnia Basinska, Pawel Farion, Anita Wojcik, Dorota Mazanka and Sebastian Wietrzynski. In an extraordinary atmosphere of togetherness with runners from all over Poland, they commemorated the event and the values associated with it. Congratulations on the great form and results achieved!

The run also included a special edition of the #BiegamGood running initiative. Each runner had the opportunity to set up a virtual charity collection. The funds collected in this way for the benefit of the Heroes of the Uprising will allow their hearing to be tested and customized hearing aids to be purchased, increasing the comfort of their daily lives.

This is another beautiful proof that sports brings people together!
